About the project

The DEEP CACAO project is a consortium of twelve (12) academic institutions to bridge the existing skills gap. This consortium works to strengthen the knowledge and capabilities of agronomy students with new AI and Big Data tools to face the challenges of modern/green agriculture.

About the project

The Franco-Ivorian HUB was initiated by the two countries, enabling students to obtain their French diplomas while remaining in Côte d'Ivoire. In collaboration with its French partners, ESATIC has set up 04 delocalized training courses: ERIS, BIHAR, MBDS and TWCS.

About the project

152 students from the school received certificates of completion in cybersecurity (Cyberops). The training is part of a pilot project to set up a cybersecurity innovation center, in collaboration with Smart Africa. The aim is to bridge the skills gap in the fight against Internet-based threats.

About the project

The Smart Africa Alliance has launched the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA for short) as the vehicle for implementing Smart Africa's capacity-building and digital skills development activities. As part of capacity-building activities to bridge the digital divide on the continent, SADA in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitization successfully conducted a train-the-trainer program in December 2022 where 40 master trainers were trained in cybersecurity and Big Data.

About the project

the Data Steward is responsible for collecting and mining all the data at his or her disposal to ultimately provide quality datasets that will enable specific Data Mining and Machine Learning tools to determine patterns or trends that will ultimately help the company improve its performance.

This is why, as part of the LeARN (Levier d'Apprentissage pour la Reconversion dans le Numérique) project, the Ministry of Digitalization of the Republic of BENIN and the Smart Africa Alliance have entrusted ESATIC with the training of data management experts (Data Stewards).

About the project

In an increasingly connected and digital world, a laboratory relies on information and communication technologies. The security of laboratory systems can have an impact on the operational safety and efficiency of the laboratory in the event of cyberthreats. To go beyond what technology can provide as protection against IT security risks, we need to strengthen the first line of defense, which is the laboratory staff.

To this end, GIZ has recruited the Ecole Supérieure Africaine des Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication (ESATIC), specialized in cybersecurity, to provide on-site cybersecurity training for 05 of its partners in the G5 Sahel countries.
