The Ivorian team ๐’๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฑ๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ญ won first place in the prestigious cybersecurity competition, at the grand finale of the ๐„๐‚๐Ž๐–๐€๐’ ๐‚๐“๐… ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’, which was held from October 14 to 16, 2024, in Abuja, Nigeria.

This competition, organized by ECOWAS in collaboration with Nigeria's National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), aims to encourage innovation to grow West Africa's digital economy.

Bringing together 44 young technophiles from 11 ECOWAS member states and Mauritania, this annual hackathon provides a platform for young talent to showcase their cybersecurity skills and develop solutions to emerging technological challenges.

Team ๐’๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฑ๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ญ

For 30 hours, the team comprised of four members, including three former students of ESATIC: ๐ƒ๐š๐ฆ๐จ ๐„๐ฅ๐จ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง (formerly of ESATIC), ๐Œ๐จ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž ๐€๐ค๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฎ (formerly of ESATIC), ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐จ ๐€๐ฅ๐ž๐ฑ๐ข๐ฌ (formerly of ESATIC) and Badia Jean Stephen TRAORE, proudly represented Cรดte dโ€™Ivoire and triumphed over the region's best talents.
