The Ivorian team ๐’๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฑ๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ญ took 1st place in the prestigious cybersecurity competition, at the ๐ฅ'๐„๐‚๐Ž๐–๐€๐’ ๐‚๐“๐… ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ grand final held in Abuja, Nigeria, from October 14 to 16, 2024.

The competition, organized by ECOWAS in collaboration with Nigeria's National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), aims to encourage innovation with a view to boosting West Africa's digital economy.

Bringing together 44 young technophiles from 11 ECOWAS member states and Mauritania, this annual hackathon provides a platform for young talent to showcase their cybersecurity skills and develop solutions to emerging technological challenges.

For 30 hours, the four-member team, including three former ESATIC students : ๐ƒ๐š๐ฆ๐จ ๐„๐ฅ๐จ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง (formerly of ESATIC), ๐Œ๐จ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž ๐€๐ค๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฎ (formerly of ESATIC), ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐จ ๐€๐ฅ๐ž๐ฑ๐ข๐ฌ (formerly of ESATIC) and Badia Jean Stephen TRAORE, The Ivory Coast was proud to represent the country and beat off the best talent in the region.
