The Ivorian team ๐๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฑ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ took 1st place in the prestigious cybersecurity competition, at the ๐ฅ'๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ grand final held in Abuja, Nigeria, from October 14 to 16, 2024.
The competition, organized by ECOWAS in collaboration with Nigeria's National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), aims to encourage innovation with a view to boosting West Africa's digital economy.
Bringing together 44 young technophiles from 11 ECOWAS member states and Mauritania, this annual hackathon provides a platform for young talent to showcase their cybersecurity skills and develop solutions to emerging technological challenges.

For 30 hours, the four-member team, including three former ESATIC students : ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง (formerly of ESATIC), ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ ๐๐ค๐๐๐๐จ๐ฎ (formerly of ESATIC), ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฑ๐ข๐ฌ (formerly of ESATIC) and Badia Jean Stephen TRAORE, The Ivory Coast was proud to represent the country and beat off the best talent in the region.
