Created by decree no. 2012-20 of January 18, 2012, the Ecole Supérieure Africaine des Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication, abbreviated ESATIC, is a public higher education institution that trains executives in the ICT sector. It is also responsible for research and development.
The creation of ESATIC is part of the President's vision to make the ICT sector one of the main levers and gas pedals of our country's economic and social development. In view of the low level of ICT penetration in our country, and particularly in our government departments and services, the opening of ESATIC will help to strengthen the popularization of ICT, through productive partnerships. ESATIC is working to put dynamic, competent and operational managers on the market.
Cooperation with private-sector operators and the regulator helps to ensure the continuous upgrading of learning paths. By fully involving the private sector in this mission, research at ESATIC is strengthened and researchers can offer services that perfectly meet customer expectations.
