This year's Salon de l'Agriculture et des Ressources Animales (SARA 2025), a key event for the agricultural sector in Cรดte d'Ivoire, included a technology competition.

This challenge brought together innovative project owners and passionate developers around a common goal: ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐ซ ๐๐ž๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐›๐š๐ฌ๐žฬ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฅ'๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ซ๐žฬ๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ซ ๐ฅ'๐š๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐ž๐ญ ๐ฅ'๐žฬ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฏ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฉ๐š๐ฒ๐ฌ.

Of the 37 teams involved in this adventure, 14 were selected to take part in the grand final, held on May 27, 2025. These finalists presented their projects to a jury of agricultural experts, tech professionals and institutional representatives.

At the closing ceremony on May 31st, the winners were announced. The first prize was awarded to the WAMI Project, an innovative solution developed by three brilliant students from the African Higher School of Information and Communication Technologies (ESATIC): Nโ€™CHO BONI, KELA WIDDIE, and TAPE NANCY.

The WAMI project perfectly embodied the synergy between technology and sustainable development, demonstrating that Ivorian youth is ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow thanks to artificial intelligence.
