This year's Salon de l'Agriculture et des Ressources Animales (SARA 2025), a key event for the agricultural sector in Cรดte d'Ivoire, included a technology competition.
This challenge brought together innovative project owners and passionate developers around a common goal: ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ข๐ซ ๐๐๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฬ๐๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฅ'๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ซ๐ฬ๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐ซ ๐ฅ'๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ญ ๐ฅ'๐ฬ๐ฅ๐๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ.
Of the 37 teams involved in this adventure, 14 were selected to take part in the grand final, held on May 27, 2025. These finalists presented their projects to a jury of agricultural experts, tech professionals and institutional representatives.
At the closing ceremony on May 31 the winners were unveiled. ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฑ was awarded to ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฬ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฬ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐'๐ฌฬ๐๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐ฬ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐'๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (๐ฌ๐บ๐จ๐ป๐ฐ๐ช): N'CHO BONI, KELA WIDDIE and TAPE NANCY.
The WAMI project perfectly embodied the synergy between technology and sustainable development, demonstrating that Ivorian youth is ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow thanks to artificial intelligence.
