The Journée du Droit Numérique (Digital Law Day), held from May 22 to 23, 2025 in Abidjan-Plateau, brought together various players from the legal, academic, technological and institutional worlds to work towards a common goal. The aim was to reflect on and propose concrete solutions to reinforce digital transformation in Côte d'Ivoire, while ensuring an effective and appropriate legal framework.
Several crucial themes were addressed over the two days, which were rich in exchanges and experience sharing. Among the highlights, Professor KONATÉ Adama, Managing Director of ESATIC, moderated a panel on the theme: «𝐋'𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐭 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐞́𝐫𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞, 𝐨𝐮̀ 𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐬-𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬?».
In his speech, Prof. KONATE highlighted the strategic importance of training in the field of digital law, given the growing challenges of digitalization. He also presented ESATIC, its training programs and the impact of the establishment in training young African talent capable of meeting the challenges of the digital age.
The event also saw prizes awarded to the three best presentations of digital solutions applied to the legal field, as part of a hackathon organized alongside the panels.
On this occasion, student YAHRA Mahi Mohamed, representing ESATIC, was honored for his brilliant performance and innovative solution, which won over the jury with its relevance and feasibility.
The 2025 edition of the Journée du Droit Numérique (Digital Law Day) proved to be a real catalyst for ideas and initiatives to advance the digitization of the legal sector in Côte d'Ivoire. The commitment of training institutions such as ESATIC and the active involvement of young people are encouraging signs for a Côte d'Ivoire resolutely turned towards the digital future.
