The Smart Africa Alliance launched the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA for short) as the vehicle for implementing Smart Africa's capacity-building and digital skills development activities. As part of the capacity-building activities to bridge the digital divide on the continent, SADA has successfully carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitization a train-the-trainer program in December 2022 where 40 master trainers were trained in cybersecurity and Big Data.
To ensure a lasting impact, the training of trainers has been extended to a greater number of beneficiaries through this project. Indeed, the aim is to ensure that knowledge is passed on for the benefit of others, so that more young people can gain skills to increase their employability.
