Partnership between ESATIC and the Innovation for Democracy Foundation

ESATIC and the Fondation de l'Innovation pour la Démocratie formalized their partnership on Thursday February 26, 2026 at SEEN hotels in Le Plateau.

The Innovation for Democracy Foundation is a pan-African organization dedicated to the reinvention of democracy in Africa. It supports local initiatives, encourages research, and accompanies networks of young people and women.

This partnership aims to combine their expertise to create a sustainable ecosystem through the official launch of the 𝐀𝐠𝐥𝐨-𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨 project, an app for promoting democracy among young people through information, awareness, education and debate.

Students from ESATIC's Innovation and Development Unit are designing the application.

On this occasion, the INADES General Secretary, Dr Sena ADESSOU, took the floor to present the structure of the institution and the major strategic orientations that guide their actions. He highlighted the vision, priority objectives and prospects for the future, in order to strengthen and ensure sustainable development.

In his turn, the Director of Operations of the Innovation for Democracy Foundation, Dr. Jean-Marc SEGOUN, presented the Foundation's missions and ambitions in terms of innovation and performance. He then addressed the partnership with ESATIC, stressing the importance of the planned application project.

ESATIC's General Manager, Prof KONATE Adama, gave a comprehensive presentation of his organization, highlighting its strategic vision, missions and training courses.

He particularly emphasized the remarkable performance of the students, highlighting the dynamism of the Innovation and Development Unit (𝐂𝐈𝐃) headed by Prof. ASSEU Olivier, Director of Research and Technological Innovation, which is a real pillar of creativity and applied research.
