L’Alliance Smart Africa launched the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA for short) as the vehicle for implementing Smart Africa's capacity-building and digital skills development activities. As part of the capacity-building activities to bridge the digital divide on the continent, SADA has successfully carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitization a train-the-trainer program in December 2022 where 40 master trainers were trained in cybersecurity and Big Data.
This pilot training project led by ESATIC's Centre d'Innovation en Cybersécurité (CIC) ran from February 13 to April 11, 2024 for one hundred and fifty-two (152) young graduates.
The CyberOps training course took place under excellent conditions on the ESATIC campus (Centre d'Innovation en Cybersécurité). This training program has enabled the young graduates to strengthen their skills. These new skills they will be making available to Ivorian companies and institutions to ensure more efficient infrastructures and systems.
