On December 9 and 10, 2025, ESATIC hosted a training session organized by the Office Ivoirien de la Propriété Intellectuelle (OIPI) in partnership with GiZ and the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de le Recherche Scientifique, as part of the «Invent’ Demain» project.
The aim of this session is to build the capacity of teacher-researchers, department heads and students in terms of intellectual property opportunities and technological information research, in order to stimulate creation and innovation within the structure.
The training was opened by the General Manager of ESATIC. He stressed the importance of innovation and intellectual property for the technological and economic development of Côte d'Ivoire.
The training was led by Mr. SORH Souleymane, Director of Patents and Technological Innovation (DBIIT) and his team. Together, they shared their expertise to encourage research and creativity.
During these two days, participants benefited from strategic tools aimed at :
- Protect their innovations;
- Enhancing the value of their scientific work;
- Transform their ideas into practical, workable solutions.
Mastering the mechanisms of intellectual property opens the way to more competitive research and a strong positioning for ESATIC in the national and international technological ecosystem.
