Since 2017, ESATIC has been home to a Laboratory for Science, Information and Communication Technologies, abbreviated to Laboratoire des Sciences, des Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication. (LASTIC). The laboratory is a multi-disciplinary Research, Development and Innovation facility. (RDI) in the field of applied sciences and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The laboratory is attached to the Department of Research and Technological Innovation (DRIT).

Its aim is to ensure Research, Development and Innovation in the ICT field.

LASTIC contributes to the creation, dissemination and promotion of new knowledge. It provides a link between research and the school's training programs.

Research activities are organized into the following areas:

• Computer Science, Mathematics ;
• Physics, Telecommunications, Electronics, Automation ;
• Digital Economy, Literature, ICT Law.
