From May 15 to 16, 2025, the Ecole Supรฉrieure Africaine des TIC (ESATIC) organized a scientific seminar on the theme ยซ๐๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐.๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ฬ๐ ๐ฬ ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฬยป. Chaired by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitization and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the event brought together teacher-researchers, public and private decision-makers, startups and healthcare and digital professionals.
This event is a continuation of the debate on intelligent agriculture that began in 2024. This year, the focus is on the digital transformation of the healthcare sector.
The aim of the seminar was to highlight the concrete contributions of Industry 4.0 technologies in the healthcare sector. Through this initiative, ESATIC intends to respond to the growing challenges linked to the accessibility, sustainability and efficiency of healthcare systems, while anticipating the future needs of populations.
ESATIC's Managing Director, Professor Adama KONATE, highlighted the advances already made, such as a prototype for the early detection of diabetes and the dematerialization of car insurance. He also highlighted the strategic partnerships underway with national and international academic and health institutions, reinforcing ESATIC's position as a key player in the Ivorian digital ecosystem.
Mr. Franck Simon BLEHIRI, Director of Information Technology and Digital Health, representing the Minister of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage, welcomed this initiative, which supports the hospital reform launched in 2019, notably through the digitalization of public hospitals and the development of hospital information systems.
Mr Olivier AVOA Director of Digital Transformation, on behalf of the Minister for Digital Transition and Digitization, reminded the audience that this seminar was part of the national Industry 4.0 strategy, adopted in 2025. He highlighted the solutions offered by technologies such as telemedicine and AI for diagnostics, while insisting on ethics and data protection.
Professor Aliou BAMBA, chairman of the scientific committee, concluded by calling for a systemic and integrated approach to health, in the spirit of the

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation by Professor Osman AHMAD, Director of the Franco-German University Institute (DFHI). Invited as an international expert, he led an applied training session on the theme, illustrating in concrete terms the benefits of these technologies in modern healthcare systems.
These two days, rich in exchanges, ended with a restitution of the work of the scientific committee, which summarized the main recommendations of the panels and workshops. In his closing remarks, ESATIC Managing Director Professor Adama KONATร praised the quality of the contributions and reaffirmed the organization's commitment to remaining a key player in digital innovation in Africa. He called for stronger synergies between the public, private and academic sectors to make digital transformation a sustainable lever for the development of the Ivorian healthcare system.
