The Ecole Supérieure Africaine des Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication (ESATIC) continues to promote Ivorian excellence through its students.
On Friday April 4, 2025, the ESATIC team brilliantly won first prize in the prestigious «Mon Idée Mon Entreprise (MIME)» competition, organized by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
The competition took place at the Eranove Academy in Abidjan-Plateau.
The duo of TAPE Nancy and N'CHO Andréa, students at ESATIC, won over the jury with a project that was as innovative as it was useful: a biomimetic robot designed to monitor water quality in fish farm ponds.
This project, led by the« Wami Nepta »is part of a technological and environmental approach that meets the growing need for sustainable management of aquatic resources in Côte d'Ivoire and beyond.
Competing against four other universities, the ESATIC representatives stood out for the relevance of their solution, the solidity of their entrepreneurial approach, and their ability to embody the future of African innovation.
This victory illustrates not only the quality of the training provided at ESATIC, but also the entrepreneurial potential of its students.
As national winners, the team will proudly represent Côte d'Ivoire at the international finals of the MIME competition, to be held in Morocco in May 2025.
A decisive new stage where the team will be able to compare its project with the best innovations in the French-speaking world.
Congratulations to TAPE Nancy, N'CHO Andréa, and the entire coaching team for this well-deserved success, which raises high the colors of ESATIC and Ivorian innovation.
