Parchment award ceremony for graduates of the Franco-Ivorian Hub

ESATIC students receive their diplomas as part of the Franco-Ivorian Regional Hub.

A total of 114 students from the Ecole supérieure africaine des Technologies de l'information et de la communication (ESATIC) received their diplomas on Thursday June 20, 2024, in Abidjan, during the first edition of the celebration of the merit of learners from the Hub régional Franco-Ivoirien (HubFI) pour l'éducation.

These French diplomas, obtained in Côte d'Ivoire, are the fruit of a partnership between ESATIC and the above-mentioned French establishments, set up in 2020-2021 as part of HubFI for education.

The idea is to train French graduates while remaining in Côte d'Ivoire. This reduces transportation, accommodation and tuition costs. A course costing almost 6 million FCFA in France is delivered in Côte d'Ivoire for around 1.6 million FCFA a year, over two years, with a diploma equivalent to those of French students, accepted by all major French companies. This model also aims to combat the brain drain, which is a loss for the national economy.

After two years' training in Côte d'Ivoire, these students, who are now all in employment, have obtained their work-study Master's degrees in the following fields Experts réseaux, infrastructures et sécurité (ERIS) in partnership with the Institut d'ingénierie informatique de Limoges (3IL Limoges), Master in Big Data Intelligence for Human Augmented Reality (BIHAR) with ESTIA, Bidart, Master in Mobility, Big Data and Systems (MBDS) with Université Côte d'Azur and Master in Web Technology and Cybersecurity (TWCS) with IMT Atlantique, Bretagne.
