On Wednesday April 9, 2025, the École Supérieure Africaine des Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication (ESATIC) was honored to welcome a delegation from the Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d'Information (ANSSI), led by its Managing Director, Mr OUATTARA Guelpétchin.
This strategic meeting was an opportunity for both institutions to discuss current and future cybersecurity issues in Côte d'Ivoire. The common objective: to lay the foundations for a promising collaboration in information systems protection.
As a major player in national cybersecurity, ANSSI's mission is to implement cyber crisis management plans, coordinate preventive actions, and ensure effective incident response. Through this visit, the agency intends to strengthen its ties with leading training institutions such as ESATIC.
After a mutual presentation of the structures by their respective Directors, the ANSSI delegation visited the ESATIC facilities, discovering its specialized laboratories and cutting-edge technological infrastructures.
At the end of the visit, Mr. OUATTARA Guelpétchin expressed his satisfaction and praised the efforts made by Professor KONATE Adama, Managing Director of ESATIC, to turn the establishment into a true center of excellence in ICT.
Professor KONATE, for his part, thanked ANSSI for this mark of interest and reaffirmed his willingness to work closely with the agency to contribute together to strengthening cybersecurity in Côte d'Ivoire.
