{"id":14480,"date":"2026-05-26T16:44:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T16:44:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esatic.ci\/?p=14480"},"modified":"2026-05-26T16:44:21","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T16:44:21","slug":"premiere-edition-of-costic-2026-at-esatic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esatic.ci\/en\/premiere-edition-of-costic-2026-at-esatic\/","title":{"rendered":"First Edition of COSECT 2026 at ESATIC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From May 20 to 22, 2026, ESATIC hosted the 1st edition of the Scientific Conference on Information and Communication Technologies (CoSTIC 2026), centered around the theme: \u00abDigital Technology for Sustainable Development in Africa.\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>This major scientific meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, Mr. Djibril OUATTARA, represented by the Inspector General, Mr. KONE Famaria, and under the patronage of the Director General of the National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI), Brigadier General Guelp\u00e9tchin OUATTARA.<\/p>\n<p>At the opening of the colloquium, the Director General of ESATIC, Professor KONATE Adama, welcomed the researchers, experts, and digital professionals who came to share their experiences and reflections. He emphasized that CoSTIC aims to contribute to the digital evolution of C\u00f4te d'Ivoire as well as to the strengthening of innovation and scientific research in the service of sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p>During the official launch, the Inspector General highlighted the strategic role of ICT in transforming African societies. As a true driver of innovation, digital technology today promotes job creation, digital inclusion, the improvement of public services, and the economic development of the continent.
